Made a plane then made it 10,000x10000. Added a texture with the wood on it and changed it from uvm mapping to cubic and seamless.

So to get the textured feel with a material I have to change from uvm mapping to cubic and seamless? I'm kind of new to Cinema 4d haha :3

Yeah with the UV mapping it stretches the texture a lot but with cubic it repeats it but leaves lines where the first cube ends and the 2nd begins so you click seamless and it removes the lines and makes it look as if its one big texture.
You have to click on the material while its on the text/object to do all this btw ;p

Oh cool, thanks man. I tried it and it looks significantly better than UV mapping :D
